Support to Rain Affected

A safe home environment plays an important role in the behaviour and studies of students in schools. Green Earth Roshni School takes care of academic as well as the general needs of its students like health care, family related and other problems. Last year, heavy rains badly damaged the houses of some students of Green Earth Roshni School. Their walls collapsed which left them without any roof shelter, before the advent of winter. Therefore, Roshni Association initiated steps to take care of those few students whose houses had been severely affected by the rains.
Some friends of Roshni were approached with the request for assistance and they contributed generously for house repairs. A student of Class 2 was one of the students whose house was severely affected by the rains, as the roof had caved in. Roshni provided funds to the family to buy material for the reconstruction of one room. We hope our friends will keep on supporting us for our welfare projects in the future as well.
