Roshni Paintings Selected for Exhibition

Special persons of Roshni Village and students of Green Earth Roshni School participated in ArtBeat National Child Art Competition 2015, organized by The Little Art. Our special persons and students did beautiful artwork on the topic of “Kaisa Pakistan”. The Jury of ArtBeat consisted of world renowned artists, Mr. R.M Naeem, Dr. Shahida Manzoor, Ms. Sadaf Naeem and Ms. Amina Ansari.
From thousands of paintings, the organization selected 356 paintings for an exhibition at Alhamra Art Gallery to be held later this year. The paintings by our special friends, Nida Bilal and Saeed Umar and those from Green Earth Roshni School by Ambreen Munir (Class 7), Zaka Hafiz (Class 7) and Momena Mansoor (Class 4) have also been selected for the exhibition.
GERS Students Attend Art Beat Workshop:
Ambreen and Zaka were among the 64 young artists who attended a sponsored workshop of two weeks in June at the College of Art & Design, University of the Punjab, Lahore. At the workshop, both the students enhanced artistic skills and gained confidence in their ability.
